We are on the lookout for an Accommodation Change and Communications Officer to join a large federal government organisation and assist a smooth transition through office accomodation.

In this key role, you’ll report to the Assistant Director Capital Works and work closely with the Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO). Your mission: to lead change and communication initiatives that support smooth transitions through office accommodation changes, while engaging staff and stakeholders every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver tailored change and communication strategies for major accommodation projects.
- Engage with project teams, business units, and executive stakeholders to foster trust and ensure readiness.
- Design and implement structured change plans, stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and engagement activities.
- Support senior leaders and change champions to effectively communicate and drive change.
- Create high-quality change documentation, including briefs, reports, and communication artefacts.
- Build internal capability in accommodation change management through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end change management and communication for complex accommodation projects.
- Strong time management and ability to align change initiatives with project goals and timelines.
- Proven success engaging and influencing diverse stakeholder groups across large organisations.
- Expertise in impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and communication planning.
- Ability to develop and execute tailored engagement activities that support staff through change.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate change effectiveness and gather feedback.
- A proactive, people-first mindset with a passion for positive workplace transformation.
- The ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively across different teams and levels.
- A commitment to the organisation's values, code of conduct, and work health and safety principles.
- Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible to obtain Baseline AGSVA Clearance and a National Police Check
