Troocoo Government are currently assisting a valued client in the recruitment of two A04 Procurement Officers! These are exciting opportunities to provide a high level of procurement support to the corporate team. These are initial 3-year contracts commencing early August with potential to extend further.

The Roles
In the role of Procurement Officer, you will assist in the development of innovative procurement strategies, methodologies and practices to support the delivery of transport infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering assigned work and providing accurate procurement advice in align with Departmental policies.
- Monitoring and reviewing end to end procurement activities.
- Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement processes, procedures, training and delegations.
- Assistance with contract management and reporting.
- Contributing to the identification and implementation of initiatives to improve procurement processes and activities.
- Supporting complex procurement projects by undertaking administrative support functions.
- Managing the administrative side of assets and managed items, including sourcing, stock take, useful life review and disposal.
To be successful within these positions, you would bring the following:
- Prior working experience within a procurement function, ideally within the public sector.
- Prior exposure to procurement projects within the transport infrastructure space.
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of end to end procurement processes.
- Attractive hourly rate of $58.02 p/hour + super.
- Long-term 3-year initial contract!
- Beautiful offices located in Buderim.
