A03 Hearing Support Officer

Note: This role includes weekly travel within South East Queensland - successful candidates MUST have their own driver’s License and vehicle. 

The Role
While working as a Tribunal Support Officer your duties will be:
  • Managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring to prioritise tasks to maximise client service and meet specific timeframes. 
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the recording and transcription services for QCAT proceedings
  • Effectively and efficiently support the needs of clients and the general public attending proceedings.
  • Provide accurate information to registry staff, and Tribunal members in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Undertake accurate computer-based processing using QCAT's file management systems and recording programs, including drafting and issuing tribunal orders.
  • Prepare and update documents using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Prioritise tasks in a fast paced and high-volume environment to enable the provision of effective hearing support services.
  • Complete general administrative tasks as required by Team Leaders and/or Manager to support the delivery of services within QCAT.
  
Your Experience 
To be successful within this role you would have:
  • Previous Customer Service and Administrative experience.
  • Candidates with a background or qualifications in Criminal Justice studies are highly recommended to apply  
  • Ability to work to strict timeframes and prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to work full-time, five days per week.
  • A current valid Driver's License and own means of transport.
  • Suitable candidates with previous retail experience are encouraged to apply!
