Vice President External Relations & Tenure Management

Job description

About the Company
Arrow Energy (Arrow) is an incorporated joint venture between two of the world’s largest energy companies, Shell and PetroChina, with a proud history in Queensland operating gas and power assets.
Arrow explores and develops gas fields, produces and sells coal seam gas, and generates electricity for sale into the wholesale power market.   We have been safely and sustainably developing coal seam gas in Queensland since 2000 and supplying it commercially from the Bowen Basin since 2004 and from the Surat Basin since 2006.
In 2020, Arrow’s shareholders sanctioned Phase 1 of the Surat Gas Project, including more than 600 new wells and associated infrastructure for supply to domestic and international markets via a groundbreaking 27 year Strategic GSA with the Shell QGC operated QCLNG project.   Once sanctioned, the full Surat Gas Project will comprise around 2500 wells and produce up to 700 TJ/d of natural gas.
Arrow’s Vision is to be the most competitive and respected developer of unconventional gas value chains in Australia and our Mission is to sustainably produce more gas to power the energy transition.
Arrow’s Culture
At Arrow, safety is our highest priority and we aim to be Target Zero every day, at every worksite.
Our values –  Respect, Lead, Own, Solve and Integrate – underpin everything we do. These are more than just words on a page or wall and the incoming leader will be critical to driving a culture that is reflective of these values.   We expect leaders at all levels in Arrow to role model values-based leadership and to enliven Arrow Values across the business.
Arrow aspires to create a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we live and operate, that utilises and develops the full potential of all of its people, that is genuinely inclusive and where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging.  At Arrow, everyone belongs.
