Our client is undergoing a large digital transformation and they have an urgent requirement for a Solution Architect  to be responsible for the architectural design of technology solutions, aligning business requirements to systems/technical requirements, ensuring alignment with agreed enterprise roadmaps.

Role Responsibilities:

• Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to design solutions, manage key technical risks and provide design leadership
• Provide strong design leadership to all stakeholders involved
• Influence and negotiate with key stakeholders to ensure the best technical fit and cost effective solutions are implemented
• Contribute to the enterprise solution design principles, guidelines, and best practices
• Influence functional teams in IT and business, using technical insights to show were capabilities, resources and skills need to be change or improved to deliver against roadmap
• Accountable for design and communication of solution architecture to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders and leadership

Essential Skillset:

• 5+ years in a similar Solution Architecture role
• Demonstrated experience in successfully influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve goals and compromise while maintaining positive relationships
• Experience in creating and maintaining solution architecture frameworks, standards, policies and processes
• Experience working across multiple platforms and technologies
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable digital solutions using agile approaches
• Experience in influencing others and obtaining consensus for technical solution designs
• Experience in architecting and deploying web-based and web- enabled business applications, and cloud-based architectures and roadmaps
