Software Release Engineer

As a result of ongoing growth, we are searching for a Software Release Engineer to join our clients Software Release Team in their Brisbane office.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Implement and manage release processes for our code as it progresses through development, test and production environments
  • Configure and maintain systems, including our ticketing system, CI/CD pipeline and source code control system
  • Execute manual tests
  • Perform basic scripting tasks across various platforms
  • Linux and Windows system administration
  • Continuously review the release process and advise on areas for improvement
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across multiple teams and disciplines
What you'll need to succeed: 
  • Certificate IV in Information Technology
  • Experience with project planning tools (JIRA, Redmine or equivalent)
  • Experience with source control tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab or equivalent)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity or equivalent)
  • Attention to detail, with an eye for quality and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within strict release deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn
