Key focus areas include:
- End to end payroll processing using MicrOpay
- Award and agreement interpretation
- Maintaining employee files
- Act as a subject matter expert for legislation regarding payroll
- Liaise professionally with the broader finance team
- Provide superior communications with employees and leaders regarding payroll matters
- Preparation of end of year payment summaries
- Actively contribute to payroll projects as required
- Identify business improvement ideas
- Calculate redundancies in line with legislation and policy
- 5 + years experience in payroll
- You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and enjoy having valuable and positive interactions with others
- Resources sector experience desirable but not mandatory
