They provide market leading consulting services to help their clients at all stages of the procurement and supply chain lifecycle. These include the early stage assessment and strategy, through delivery implementation and ongoing operations.
Established in Australia in the late 1990’s, our client now has over 100 consultants globally operating out of offices in Australia, Asia, Europe and North America. During this time, this company has served over 350 clients and counts some of the largest blue chip organisations in the world. In addition to their consulting staff, this flagship consulting business has c. 20 delivery centres globally and over 2000 procurement staff.

Primed for a genuinely exciting period of growth across the ANZ region, this business is now looking to add two senior managers to their offices in Sydney and Melbourne. In addition, they are also looking to recruit one Associate Director for both of these offices.
The role:
Our client is seeking experienced candidates who can bring with them an exemplar reputation and a portfolio of industry contacts to propel their growth strategy. Candidates must show a track record of delivery in a consulting / professional services environment.
Candidates with a high degree of transformational work within industry settings will also be well regarded, but experience in solutioning and selling in a professional services environment is most in demand. A degree of specialisation and sub-specialisation within Procurement or Supply Chain is expected but without being limiting.

What’s on offer?
Our client is offering above market rate packages for both the senior manager and associate director positions. Senior Managers can expect a fixed package of between $160,000 and $180,000 + super and a c.$35,000 bonus. Associate Directors can expect a fixed package of between $180,000 and $225,000 + super and a $70,000 bonus.

- Senior Managers will largely be responsible for leading delivery of client projects and identifying and delivering on-sell opportunities within the account. On average, billable time is expected to be around 60%, with non-billable time focused on business development tasks, usually supporting a Director in the pursuit of new business.
- Associate Directors will oversee delivery of client engagements but are increasingly responsible for the origination and conversion of new engagements with both existing and prospective clients. A majority of time is expected to be spent on business development activities. Associate Directors play a significant role in crafting the thought leadership and creating solutions that resonate with clients.
The successful candidate:
Successful candidates will have a proven track record within a top tier consulting house:
- Senior Managers will typically have 6-10 year’s experience within a professional services or consulting environment.
- Associate Directors will typically have 10 year’s plus experience within a professional services or consulting environment.
With a proven track record of superior project management skills, the role holders will be able to demonstrate a keen eye for business development opportunities and a genuine entrepreneurial spirit. In addition, the successful candidates should be able to satisfy the following criteria:
- Proven academic achievement with a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Economics, Law or Science;
- Deep functional knowledge of procurement and supply chain;
- Be able to paint a picture and storyline a solution through all stages of development;
- Be result and outcome oriented;
- Superior communication skills in both the written and verbal form;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Be happy and willing to operate within a flat structure and collegiate environment.
