Our client are delivering an urban development project and as the project is ramping up they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to deliver the reporting function and ensure compliance and data integrity. 

Working as part of a small, high performance team, you will be the person responsible for owing the Financial Accounting function and therefore you will regard yourself as a technical and highly competent Financial Accountant. 

Reporting to the Manager of Finance you will be responsibilities will include:

• Own and manage the GL reconciliations
• Prepare month end reports and assist with statutory reporting and financial statements
• Maintain asset register
• Coordinate internal and external audit 

To be considered you will need to demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA
• At least five years experience in a financial accounting role in a commercial environment
• Strong understanding of the accounting standards and relevant legislation
• Solid experience with taxation
