Project Manager - Dynamics

Job description

Our client is undertaking an enterprise initiative to consolidate disparate financial systems across multiple business streams and the associated system, people and process changes.  They require a Project Manager to coordinate and ensure effective integration of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operation’s Project.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver the project
  • Lead the people, process and technology components of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 project
  • Development and management of a sound Project Management Plan;
  • Lead a relevant and supportive team of project specialists, cross functional and vendor resources driving improved maturity, collaboration, capability and alignment to the organisation’s strategic goals and the achievement of the business outcomes
  • Take accountability for project performance reporting
  • Take responsibility for the financial management of the project
  • Manage the vendor partner contract to ensure delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure business operational requirements are captured and delivered as part of the project

 

Essential Skillset:

 

  • 6+ years in a similar ICT project management role, including senior project roles leading significant teams and initiatives
  • Detailed understanding of project delivery best practice and methodologies, including Agile/Lean approaches 
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders 
  • Experience in influencing others and obtaining consensus
  • Implementation of Dynamics AX or preferably D365 Finance and Operations
