Project Manager

Job description

Our client is currently undertaking number of projects to improve their ICT and supporting systems and processes and now have an immediate need for a Project Manager to support Operational Technology (OT) related projects across the business. The engagement requires a Project Manager that can operate with the business and technical resources.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support a gap analysis process and build business understanding of Building Information Management (BIM)
  • Engage suitable providers to support outcomes
  • Achieve defined business case, work packages and planned roadmap for the BIM implementation roadmap
  • Establish project governance and control around current initiatives
  • Uplift current solutions to latest versions and enable automation of data and reporting from 40 locations and 65 sites.
  • Understand the datasets and dataflows from cradle to grave
  • Deliver efficiency reporting and outcomes to the business
  • Plan second stage of project for financial year 19/20
Essential Skillset:
  • exposure and understanding of Operational Technology (OT) Projects (I.e. Scada, smart devices, BIM, etc.)
  • must be a Project Manager first and be able to utilise technical experts to achieve project outcomes
  • managing internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes for the business
  • experience in the delivery management of a few key projects simultaneously to constrained dates
  • experience of engaging multiple vendors to work collaboratively to achieve a single outcome
  • excellent understanding and experience in client-side project delivery and embedding organisational change
  • working within an organisation project delivery framework
  • PMBOK or Prince 2 certification - Mandatory
