Program Coordinator

Job description

Our client is a large department within with the Queensland Government and they have a new requirement for an experienced Program Coordinator. 

Role Responsibilities:
  • Development and management of the Communication and Engagement Groups’ consolidated strategy, standards, service levels, processes, and key performance measures
  • Management of the Communication and Engagement Groups’ risk management plan, business continuity management plan, and emergency management plans and procedures 
  • Support the strategic management and monitoring of the Communication and Engagement Group’s high-level pipeline of work, ensuring effective scoping, collaboration and negotiation with stakeholders
  • Support the provision of strategic and data-based insight (including trend research, analysis, bench marking and reporting) 
Essential Skillset:
  • 10 + years experience as a Program/Senior Project Coordinator/Project Manager
  • strategic leadership abilities to drive continuous improvement and implement change
  • abilities to manage ambiguity, negotiate and provide expert advice on communication and engagement activities
  • interpersonal skills to manage internal and external relationships within and across the department
  • application of specialist communication knowledge and business management skills to make decisions with rigor and lead the delivery of high quality communication and engagement activities
