Payroll Officer - Part-time or Full-time

This organisation has grown to be one of the largest in their industry. With multiple divisions and a positive culture built on strong values, this organisation is looking to continue it's success and growth across QLD. Due to a promotion in the team they are looking for a capable Payroll Officer to come on-board on either a part-time or full-time basis.

About the Role 

Joining an established and friendly team you will become the ‘go to’ person for payroll within your split. You will be responsible for full end to end payroll; from new starters and terminations to processing fortnightly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple EBA's. It would be desirable if you have exposure to month/year end payroll duties including processing payroll tax, superannuation.

You will have the opportunity to be cross trained in other areas of the payroll team and potentially with the use of different systems, as the Payroll Manager likes to ensure a collaborative environment.
 
About You

To be suitable for this role you need to have an enthusiastic and friendly persona. You will have the desire to integrate with the whole organisation; happy to take a phone call/answer an email, help the team in peak times and work together to improve process. You must have recent experience in the Chris 21 system, ideally processing a high volume payroll.
