About the Company
This large and reputable organisation provides services all across South-East Queensland. Due to a secondment in the team, there is a need for an experienced Internal Auditor for a 3 month engagement.

About the Role
Working in the Internal Audit team, you will report into the Head of Internal Audit and have access to an enterprise and group environment. As an Internal Auditor you will be expected to manage the delivery of the audit program; planning, executing and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing Internal Audit (IA) papers
  • Engage with Audit & Risk Committee and ELT
  • Following up on IA recommendations
  • Provide accurate IA reports to management
  • Delivery relevant communications to operations on a daily basis
  • Track performance standards
  • Identify and manage controls and mitigations of risk
  • Handle ad-hoc requests 
About You
You will have worked in an internal audit function previously, ideally in a medium to large organisation. You must have exposure to communicating and presenting to senior/executive management. You will have proven history in partnering with an organisation and influencing stakeholders. Strong knowledge of IIA standards are key. It is desirable that you have a tertiary qualification related to finance, governance or audit.
