This large organisation is responsible for critical infrastructure across Queensland and they are underway with a large scale SAP system upgrade. This is an important project and they need the support and expertise of a Financial Accountant for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. The Financial Accountant will perform financial accounting and management accounting and be able to provide systems support across SAP. 

Key responsibilities; 

• Manage the reporting of the financial aspects of the corporation’s property, plant and equipment assets. 
• Deliver regulatory reporting and tax obligations reporting. 
• Maintain the financial integrity of the finance system including managing monthly reconciliations. 
• Assist with the Annual Statutory Reporting process.
• Prepare monthly management reporting, forecasts and budgets.
• Provide financial systems (SAP) support to the Finance group for key processes including planning and budgeting, transaction processing and reporting.

The Ideal Candidate;

• Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or Business. 
• CA/CPA Qualified. 
• Demonstrated Financial and Statutory reporting experience. 
• Advanced Excel and SAP experience. 
• Experienced in preparing monthly reporting forecasting and budgets.
