Role Responsibilities:

• Deploying and utilising Automated Infrastructure Deployment technologies;
• Administration of Cloud Platforms, including the provisioning of services and access management;
• DevSecOps, ensuring security remains front of mind when deploying new solutions and appropriate technical controls are implemented to deployed solutions;
• Identify and provide recommendations as to how best to utilise cloud services;
• Utilise On-Premises Hyperconverged Infrastructure with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Monitoring of IT systems, including the maintenance of these systems;
• Analysis of current IT procedures and policies and to make recommendations to the IT Operations Manager when appropriate;

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in Azure and AWS;
• Demonstrated knowledge with Infrastructure Deployment Automation;
• Experience using and developing automation tooling (Ansible, Puppet, Chef);
• Demonstrated experience of Cybersecurity concepts and technologies;
• Demonstrated experience of DevOps (agile,source control) methodologies;
• Demonstrated experience utilising On Premises Infrastructure and Virtualisation;
• Experience utilising performance monitoring tools to assess health and performance;
• Ability to present operational concerns during Software Development pipeline;
• Proven troubleshooting ability and familiarity with helpdesk systems;

Degree qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent are essential
