The role:
You will take a key role building real time data environments working alongside market leading architects, developers, data scientists and data engineers. This is a true consulting role, you will work as a DataOps engineer building advance analytics platforms. In this role you will focus on driving DevOps principles across ci/cd, integrations of data pipelines and the automation of deployment ensuring each release is a success.

Specific responsibilities will include:
Deliver end to end data solutions, supporting a team of architects and developers across design, implementation and testing.
Implement ci/cd principles working closely with the development and data science teams
Support platform manager to configure, build and deploy analytics platforms
Deliver “best in class” solutions across data analytics, data governance and reporting solutions;
Utilise advances in technology to implement new business process to improve business efficiency and reporting across the client’s business
Deliver quality of the highest standards by working with leaders across the organisation
The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following criteria:
Minimum two years experience working in data environments, this could be across the data warehouse, BI or big data environments.
Two years DataOps/DevOps experience automating the release management process
Proven experience working across the Microsoft stack including Azure, PowerBI, Azure data factory
Hands on experience integrating data pipelines from applications to analytics platforms in cloud environments
Work with data frameworks and have an understanding of data quality and its importance to project success
A passion for cloud technologies and advance analytical tools. You will be someone who enjoys learning new technology and has an interest in driving automation
Have a software development/data engineering background before moving into the DataOps domain
Strong business acumen & ability to think through different levels of detail
Due to the nature of the project undertaken security clearances will be needed. As such only applicants with Australian Citizenship can be considered
