This organisation is synonymous with quality and service. Over the last decade through organic growth and acquisitions they have grown to be a market leader in Australia. As the new Collections Officer, you will be joining an experienced team led by a Credit Manager with strong people skills.

About the Role

Working across a collaborative team, you will have your own portfolio to manage as well as being crossed trained in other areas so the team has sufficient coverage. The vast portion of the position will be collections with a small accounts receivable component.
 
Your responsibilities will be:
  • Collection calls and written correspondence
  • Raise credit notes
  • Investigate account queries and unresolved issues 
  • Assist with banking and allocations
  • Account reconciliations 
  • New account set up
  • Prepare reports
  • Review current processes and systems
About You

You will thrive in a busy workplace and be able to handle a fast paced environment. From a system perspective, it would be highly desirable if you have used a large ERP system. 1-3 years experience in a similar role would be ideal as well as exposure to both collections and accounts receivable.
