About the company:
This is a senior marketing opportunity that will play a key role in defining the future direction of the company, whilst making a real ‘stamp’ in the industry. Our client is listed on the ASX and is a part of the growing and popular natural medicine and health sector and will see you bring to market products that will enhance health and wellbeing for consumers. As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for the overall marketing and customer strategy for the organisation.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will have strategic oversight of the marketing, brand and digital assets for the business. Initially the role will require you to work seamlessly between setting the strategy and operational delivery, however, over time you will build a ‘world class’ marketing and e-commerce team that will continue to generate customer demand and sales.
As the CMO it will be paramount to implement the best in class features from all known digital platforms and experiences to ensure a strong uptake of customer engagement that will result in increased revenue turnover. Through the e-commerce channel the role will require you to take new and existing products to market, which will be based on effective research, pricing and data integrity. You will work closely with external agency suppliers to also support you with the strategy and marketing/advertising campaign efficiency.
About you:
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 10 + years’ experience as a marketing leader, supported by a demonstrated and in-depth background in integrated marketing and e-commerce. You will have knowledge of segmentation, building and managing databases, as well as targeted CRM acquisition strategies and campaigns.
Ideally, you will have had a broad background in the types of organisations you have worked for, both large and small, with some exposure in working for a startup to scale business. You will have experience in the B2C product to the consumer market and will be well positioned to sit on an executive team where you will add wider value from a commercial and operational perspective within the business.
