They recognise that they could not have achieved what they have without their many supporters and their loyal staff. The organisation is now well poised for future growth and will be looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the team towards the key organisational goals. 

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Directors and Founder, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the oversight of the day to day running of the organisation as well as setting and driving the strategic direction. Given the journey of the organisation, this new CEO position is arguably the most important hire the brand has undertaken to date.

Through the senior leadership team, the Chief Executive Officer inspires, motivates and develops a high performing workforce providing leadership, operational effectiveness and continuous improvement towards the achievement of growth strategies and execution. Alignment to their brand purpose of providing the best-in-class transformation experience through health and well-being will be a key element of the role.
  
Specifically, key accountabilities include:

  • Develop market leading organisational strategies and plans to deliver long and short-term strategic objectives.

  • Inspire and shape organisational culture through transformational leadership that instils the vision, values in striving for excellence in the delivery of customer services

  • Lead the Senior Leadership Team to deliver upon the strategy through a high performing, customer-centric workforce.

  • Provide strong leadership and direction within the organisation to develop and consistently deliver on our brand vision, our growth targets, and our culture.

  • Execute on growth strategies from business Directors through optimised organisational structures and operations systems

  • Remain accountable to the financial strategy, budget planning and adherence, financial and operational risk management and reporting

  • Manage direct reports (Head of Marketing, Head of Product, Head of eCommerce) providing incentives and inspiration to keep them energized and motivated, as well as the structure and support needed to reach targets.

  • Encourage marketing, public relations and communication to ensure that the organisation and its mission, programs and services are consistently presented in a positive light to relevant stakeholders.

  • Create a culture of change and innovation to enable continuous growth and improvement.

  • Leverage a customer-obsessed approach to deliver successful annual campaigns and wider organisational goals

  • Represent the organisation and build its profile across the community.

  • Ensure that the policies of the Board are implemented and reviewed as and when required, whilst ensuring that the Board is informed of the operations of management.

  • Report to the Directors and Founder on the status of strategy and plans, highlighting risks and opportunities for growth and sustainability.

  
Key Skills Required:

To be considered for the position, you will be a strong people leader who demonstrates extensive experience and record of achievements at a C-suite level across the digital and / or e-commerce sectors industry sectors. You will have solid leadership and emotional intelligence skills with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver growth strategies through a customer-oriented environment whilst providing strong transformational leadership, analytical and strategic thinking. A passion for health and well-being is be essential for this position.

Your strategic commercial capability and experience as a senior leader are underpinned by your ability to implement customer centric initiatives therefore ensuring that you assist the business in achieving its ambitious growth strategies. It is essential that you demonstrate superior presentation and communication skills, with a personal presence and the ability to act confidently as the public spokesperson for the organisation.

Demonstrate integrity in all dealings; be honest and open; listen to and consider stakeholder views; demonstrate empathy; and act in a way that reflects the culture and values of the organisation.

Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills will be critical for this role as you will need to develop and foster essential networks and partnerships necessary to achieve organisational objectives through periods of growth and change.

Ability to identify opportunities for change and lead improvement initiatives along with a strong financial, governance and risk compliance skill will be needed for this leadership position.
