Our client is a large and well known organisation founded over 50 years ago and who currently seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer.  The successful candidate will be agile and affable, possessing SQL Server skills, knowledge of dimensional modelling data structures and general IT skills (excel, access, .Net) and be looking to develop their skillset in a business intelligence and data analytics environment.  

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor day to day operations and data quality of the data warehouse,
• Perform production support – incident and problem management for the data warehouse.
• Extend and maintain the data acquisition ETL from source systems and external suppliers
• Testing of code, and data structures prior to release.
• Document policies and operations procedures.
• Maintain and administer the SQL, SSRS and Tableau environments

You will have:

• 2+ years’ experience in SQL Server toolsets especially SSIS, SSRS and SSAS and Excel;
• Experience with SQL data base performance monitoring, query optimization, index creation, views, etc
• Experience in data related project roles and activities: database development, data warehousing and BI, data migrations, complex report development

Desirable: 

• Experience with Power BI / Tableau / Qlikview or similar (and other programming tools such as VB, .NET, java, C…) is desirable
• Data warehousing, data modelling / data base design experience
