With a solid foundation in the Queensland market and a great reputation across Australia this organisation is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to commence as soon as possible in a permanent vacancy within a wider Shared Services team.

Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer you be responsible for entering a high volume of invoices into the finance system, tracking expenses and processing expense claims for payment, handling supplier queries, processing cheque/EFT requisitions for end of month, ensure petty cash is accurately maintained and reconciled on a regular basis, providing supporting documentation for audits, maintaining a high level of accuracy and remaining compliant with policy and procedure.

About you

You need to have experience with accounts payable, ideally in a high volume role. You will need to be adaptable and willing to undertake any job delegated to you. From a cultural perspective the best fit is someone who enjoys the company of the team but knows when to work and can work autonomously. This role will start ASAP so you must be able to start on short notice.
