Company:

Producing for a number of well known brands, this organisation has grown into an industry leader - even establishing a global footprint.  Due to a gap in the team, they are searching for a skilled Accountant with around 2-3 years experience.

Role:

Joining a busy and highly skilled financial accounting team you will be relied upon to own your role. An important area of your position is leasing and maintaining the lease register. With the new leasing standards, Jan 1 2019, you will be the team's 'go to'. Other responsibilities include:

• Month end journals and accruals
• Assisting with fixed assets
• GL reconciliations
• Analysis of selling, general and administrative expenses
• Compliance matters
• Ad hoc reports and assisting the F&A team

The team has implemented a rotation schedule to cover sick/annual leave and peak periods. Thus you will be cross trained in other areas of finance.

About you:

To be a suitable candidate you will be looking for an organisation you can grow with. The team's values are based around dedication, helping each other and always having a positive attitude. Intermediate knowledge of Excel and prior ERP system experience would be highly desirable - TechOne, SAP etc. 2-3 years commercial experience in a similar role is ideal - working knowledge of fixed assets, PP&E, leasing would be advantageous.
