Managing Director

Scott is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Troocoo and a senior search and selection specialist leading the Executive and Board division. Over the past ten years, he has developed an extensive connection to the executive community in Queensland and has delivered on a number of senior executive search and recruitment assignments, focused on Board, CEO, CIO, CFO, CMO and COO appointments.

Scott is also  Co-founder and Managing Director of the Troocoo Venture Fund, which was established in 2017 to invest in a diversified portfolio of technology start-ups. The funds investment objective is to focus on scalable, capital-efficient technology start-ups where the strategy is to invest early (seed).

Due to Troocoo's expertise in recruitment, they have a strong understanding of people so they invest in founders and leaders who are passionate, driven and motivated to solve business problems. They plan to build a large, diversified portfolio and have made four investments to date, with the goal of helping other people be successful.

In January 2010, Scott Co-founded u&u and over the next six years built a very successful and extremely high performing business, which was recognised five years in succession (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016) by BRW as one of Australia’s top 100 fastest growing organisations. u&u was also recognised in 2015 as a finalist at the prestigious Lord Mayors Business Awards. 

Originally based in the UK, Scott worked for global organisations such as Dun & Bradstreet, Vodafone and Xerox Corporation. He also spent four years as Global Account Director for ETT where he managed two global accounts and was responsible for managing a team with key personnel in London, New York, Paris, Düsseldorf, New Delhi and Singapore.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from De Montfort University.
