Founding Director, Executive Search

Scott is a founding director at Troocoo and a senior search and selection specialist working as part of our Executive Search team. Scott has developed an extensive connection to senior leadership teams in ASX-listed businesses, not for profits, statutory authorities, government entities, SMEs, and private equity firms. During the past 15 years, he has undertaken many executive search assignments, and these were focused on Board, CEO, CFO, CIO, CPO, CMO, CXO, and COO appointments.

Scott also leads the Director team in Queensland and works closely with his direct reports to ensure that Troocoo is delivering an exceptional experience and positive outcome for our clients and candidates. Scott is passionate about building high-performing teams and businesses, and partners with boards, executives, and HR to identify, engage and recruit culturally aligned talent. He also supports senior executives seeking career advice, guidance, or insight to help their careers thrive.

Scott has founded and built two highly successful recruitment and search firms since relocating to Australia from the UK in 2006.  Prior to co-founding Troocoo, Scott was a co-founder and director at u&u Recruitment Partners, where he built a high-performing and successful business.  u&u was recognised five years in a row (2012–2016) by BRW as one of Australia’s top 100 fastest growing organisations. In 2017, Scott co-founded Troocoo, which has also been recognised by BRW as one of Australia’s top 100 fastest growing organisations in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Scott attributes this success to his passion for people partnerships and building long-term relationships.

Scott was originally based in the UK where he worked for global organisations such as Dun & Bradstreet, Vodafone, and Xerox Corporation. He also spent four years as global account director for global telecommunications and technology (GTT) where he managed two global accounts and was responsible for managing a team with key personnel in London, New York, Paris, Düsseldorf, New Delhi, and Singapore.
