Founding Director
Andrew Pyke is a Founder and Managing Director of Troocoo. With a background in technology and executive recruitment, he has an extensive national network of both clients and high calibre candidates.
In his role as Managing Director, Andrew is strategically leading the Troocoo business through its growth from a Queensland-based entity to its future state of a multi-site east coast Australian organisation. Andrew is passionate about leading a values-driven organisation that looks to invest in people at every opportunity.
Andrew has over 25 years’ experience working in the recruitment and specialist technology services sector. This experience spans London, Sydney, and Brisbane, with Andrew having worked in both privately owned businesses and listed international organisations; working initially within the UK technology recruitment sector at a time when the sector was emerging and establishing its true value proposition to clients.
Following a long career that resulted in managing large account delivery teams across the UK, to then launching state-based offices in Australia from 2005, Andrew has remained exceptionally hands-on in delivering recruitment solutions as well as strategically managing growing businesses across multiple service lines.
Launching Troocoo in 2017, his background in technology and executive level recruitment combined to specialise more in CIO, CTO, and IT director-level recruitment. Moving into the Managing Director role at Troocoo allowed Andrew to bring 25 years of best practice, ideas, and leadership to lead the business as it continues to grow and establish itself in new sectors and innovative service offerings.
