The Opportunity

Troocoo is partnering with a leading industrial organisation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the transformation of a large warehouse and materials management function supporting a critical operational site in Central Queensland.

This is more than a traditional warehouse leadership role. You'll inherit a capable team looking for direction, structure and leadership while driving meaningful improvements across safety, inventory management, warehouse operations and culture.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Lead the day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations across a large industrial site.
  • Build a strong safety culture with a focus on chemical handling, risk management and visible safety leadership.
  • Develop and implement a practical warehouse improvement roadmap.
  • Improve housekeeping, warehouse organisation and inventory preservation.
  • Drive stock accuracy and reduce inventory discrepancies.
  • Review inventory holdings and improve materials management practices.
  • Introduce clear KPIs, planning routines and operational accountability.
  • Coach, mentor and develop an experienced warehouse team while rebuilding engagement and ownership.
  • Work collaboratively with operational leaders, maintenance, procurement and safety teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing warehouse, logistics or materials management operations
  • Experience within heavy industry, mining, manufacturing, utilities or a similar asset-intensive environment is preferred
  • A strong track record improving warehouse performance, safety and operational standards.
  • Experience implementing warehouse best practice, inventory controls and materials management processes.
  • Strong understanding of MRP and inventory management principles.
  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural change and improve team accountability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence through coaching and collaboration.
