The Role
Reporting into the Network Performance Manager, the Supplier Performance Consultant will deliver key cost, service and quality targets through the partner network and supplier services by effective contract and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist to vet and procure selected supplier services within appropriate governance, compliance and contractual frameworks.
- Audit, analyse, and manage cost, quality and service performance of your supplier base to ensure that agreed contractual, regulatory and best practice standards are met and maintained.
- In conjunction with Procurement Manager, closely monitor supplier capacity nationally to ensure adequate geographical and volume coverage to meet customer demand.
- Analyse all relative supplier feedback daily and liaise with stakeholders to produce outcomes and solutions.
- Arrange and attend regular supplier review meetings and document outcomes and actions with vendors.
- Identify and report on key trends within your allocated category suppliers that could present risks or opportunities.
- Assist to resolve claims negotiations and disputes involving suppliers as and when needed.
- Undertake risk assessments and manage compliance of potential suppliers.
Skills & Experience
- Previous expereince within a procurement & supplier management / relationship management position required.
- Exposure working within the Automotive or related industry preferred but not essential.
- Proven track record and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability influence.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
