Troocoo is partnering with a well-established commercial construction business to recruit a Safety Advisor to support operations across South East Queensland.
This is a hands-on opportunity suited to a WHS professional who enjoys being on site, working closely with supervisors, subcontractors and stakeholders to drive a strong safety culture.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will provide practical safety advice and support across multiple active construction sites. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, identifying risks and supporting leaders to embed best practice safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide WHS guidance in line with legislation, codes of practice and company standards
• Conduct site inspections and audits across construction sites
• Identify hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate controls
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Engage with subcontractors and site teams to promote a positive safety culture
• Review and maintain WHS documentation and systems
• Assist with training, inductions and toolbox talks
• Support return-to-work and rehabilitation processes

  
About You

• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (minimum)
• Experience in a WHS role within construction (commercial highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Confident engaging with site teams and stakeholders
• Experience conducting site inspections and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• White Card required
