This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking to work in a rural setting with a varied clinical skillset.

The Opportunity

• Location: Cooktown MPHS, QLD
• Position: Rural Generalist Registered Nurse
• Contract: 13 September – 1 November 2026
• Clinical areas: ED and Acute Ward
• Theatre skills: Anaesthetics or Scrub/Scout
• Potential to participate in on-call if birthing services recommence

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an acute care setting
• Current ALS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Triage qualification
• Demonstrated experience in ED and/or acute care
• Theatre experience in Anaesthetics or Scrub/Scout
