The Opportunity

• Registered Nurse | Grade 5
• Moranbah Hospital
• Maximum 80 hours per fortnight
• Overtime applies after 80 hours per fortnight
• Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts
• Rural nursing and emergency experience essential

About:

Moranbah is located in the Isaac Regional Shire, approximately 200km south-west of Mackay.

This is a great opportunity for nurses looking to broaden their clinical experience in a busy rural setting.

Essential Experience

• Rural nursing experience
• Emergency nursing experience

Mandatory Competencies

• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
• Manual and patient handling
• Infection control and hand hygiene
• Mandatory reporting of reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
• Occupational Violence Prevention Training, including de-escalation, situational awareness and personal safety
• Medication management, including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations
