What you'll be responsible for
You will take end-to-end ownership of the project, ensuring delivery across scope, time, and budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the full closure and demobilisation of an existing manufacturing site
- Managing make good obligations and site shutdown activities
- Coordinating the relocation of plant and equipment across multiple locations (NSW, QLD, VIC)
- Managing contractors on-site to ensure safe and compliant delivery
- Developing and executing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Partnering with cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, IT and Finance
- Monitoring risks, dependencies and project milestones, providing regular stakeholder updates
- Supporting the setup and commissioning of new or reconfigured facilities
- Ensuring all governance, documentation and compliance requirements are met
- 7 to 10+ years Project Management experience
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end projects in complex environments
- Exposure to site closures, relocations, or operational transitions highly regarded
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management capability
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Background within manufacturing, industrial, logistics or similar environments preferred
- 9-month fixed-term contract (with potential for extension or longer-term opportunity)
- Open to day rate contractors
- Two-stage interview process
- Immediate start preferred
