Job description


This is a great opportunity to join a front line organisation as a Project Manger in Capital works. As a Project Manager, you’ll coordinate and deliver capital works projects and maintenance programs across a diverse and high-value asset portfolio. Working within Infrastructure Command, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and strategically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily capital works activities and resolve project issues
  • Monitor project performance and provide advice to senior leadership
  • Deliver projects in line with whole-of-government frameworks
  • Prepare reports, briefing notes, and Ministerial correspondence
  • Engage with stakeholders across government and external providers
  • Support asset planning, financial reporting, and program delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement in facilities and asset management systems
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong experience in program and project management
  • Advanced financial and data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of capital works and asset management
  • Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks
