Job description
This is a great opportunity to join a front line organisation as a Project Manger in Capital works. As a Project Manager, you’ll coordinate and deliver capital works projects and maintenance programs across a diverse and high-value asset portfolio. Working within Infrastructure Command, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily capital works activities and resolve project issues
- Monitor project performance and provide advice to senior leadership
- Deliver projects in line with whole-of-government frameworks
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and Ministerial correspondence
- Engage with stakeholders across government and external providers
- Support asset planning, financial reporting, and program delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in facilities and asset management systems
- Strong experience in program and project management
- Advanced financial and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of capital works and asset management
- Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks
- Working on high-impact, state-wide infrastructure projects
