The Position

Troocoo is excited to be partnered with a dynamic and innovative services organisation to recruit a Procurement Policy & Frameworks Officer on a part-time basis, with the potential for either 2 or 3 days per week.

This position is based in Brisbane’s Southern Suburbs, offers free parking onsite, and flexible working arrangements.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement, the Policy & Frameworks Officer is responsible for developing, drafting, reviewing and streamlining procurement and contract management policies, frameworks, and associated documentation.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Research, draft, and update policies in collaboration with various stakeholders across the Group.
  • Ensure that all policies and frameworks comply with current legislation, regulatory guidelines, and best practices.
  • Analyse existing policies to identify gaps or areas for improvement and recommend updates.
  • Ensure policies are accessible and easy to understand for various audiences.
  • Design, document and manage frameworks that support procurement governance, applicable risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure frameworks are scalable and adaptable to changing regulations and internal shifts.
  • Stay updated on industry changes, new regulations, emerging trends, and adjust policies and frameworks accordingly.
  • Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for policies and frameworks, ensuring they are properly formatted and easy to access.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff when required on new or updated procurement and contract management policies and frameworks.

Skills & Experience   
  • Proven experience developing and drafting organisational policies and procedures
  • Legal training or formal education will be held in high regard
  • Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience required
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent writing and research skills
  • Ability to analyse complex information and translate it into clear, actionable policies
  • Experience in or knowledge of procurement and contract management processes is preferred but not essential
