Troocoo are an established Government recruitment partner supporting this leading Queensland Government agency recruit a Principal Risk & Corporate Governance Officer AO7. This is a key opportunity to add value and bring corporate governance expertise.

• $88.29 -$94.59 p/hour + super - agency contractor rate
• Brisbane North location – parking available
• Contract commencing ASAP to 22/01/27!

The successful candidate will be expected to quickly establish themselves in the role, build effective working relationships with leaders across the organisation, and take ownership of existing work programs with minimal disruption to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of enterprise risk management, fraud and corruption risk frameworks, policies, and processes.
• Lead enterprise risk management reporting and continuous improvement activities.
• Plan, facilitate and lead enterprise risk workshops across the organisation.
• Prepare high-quality Board and Committee reports on enterprise risk management initiatives.
• Conduct process reviews and key control assessments to evaluate effectiveness.
• Provide expert advice to leaders on risk identification, assessment, treatment, and emerging risks.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous Government experience is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to the implementation of the enterprise risk management framework and related initiatives.
• Proven ability to provide expert advice on risk monitoring and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience preparing high-quality reports, Board papers, and related documentation.
• Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective consultation processes.
