Personal Assistant

Job description

An exciting temporary opportunity has become available for an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant to join a leading organisation within the insurance sector, supporting an Associate Director and their broader leadership team.

This is far more than a traditional diary management role. We are seeking a highly organised, confident individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys becoming a trusted support to senior leadership. This role will see you heavily involved in business operations, stakeholder management and ensuring the smooth running of a high-performing division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant looking to step into a senior support role, gain exposure within a leading organisation, and make an immediate impact.

What you'll be doing:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to an Associate Director and senior leadership team
  • Manage a complex and ever-changing diary, ensuring priorities are effectively managed
  • Coordinate national travel arrangements and detailed itineraries
  • Prepare meeting packs, presentations and leadership materials
  • Monitor inboxes, coordinate meetings and manage competing priorities
  • Take minutes and manage actions arising from leadership meetings
  • Support team engagement initiatives and internal events across multiple sites
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted business partner, proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions
  • Provide support across wider business initiatives as required
What we're looking for:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant capacity
  • Experience supporting senior leaders within fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to manage upwards
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
  • Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite
What's in it for you?
  • Temporary opportunity with a leading organisation within the insurance sector
  • Exposure to senior leadership and strategic business initiatives
  • Join a high-performing and collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to become a true business partner rather than purely administrative support
  • Modern North Lakes office with onsite parking and amenities
  • Work alongside a highly respected leader who values initiative and professionalism
  • Fantastic opportunity to expand your experience within a large, complex organisation
Key Details:
  • Temporary full-time opportunity
  • Immediate start available
  • Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Based in North Lakes with onsite parking
  • 100% office-based position
  • Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience
