About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Process Specialist to join a dynamic organisation based in Brisbane's CBD. This permanent full-time role offers the chance to lead process improvement initiatives, optimise payroll processes, and ensure effective communication and training for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Create and update detailed payroll process maps and work instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency in payroll tasks.
  • Drive end-to-end process improvement projects, delivering measurable benefits to the organisation.
  • Evaluate current payroll workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined, optimised processes.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure process changes align seamlessly with business operations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant payroll laws, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements to uphold accuracy and legality.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience in payroll operations or process optimisation roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems, legislation, and compliance requirements.
