About the Role

As the Manager PMO, you will be responsible for oversight and coordination of a portfolio of projects across the organisation.

The role will support project managers to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget to achieve high quality outcomes.. It provides governance and assurance to meet the fit-for-purpose project management framework and reports regularly on project and portfolio performance to the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

As Team Leader, you will:
  • Provide strategic oversight of project management practises and monitor interdependences across the portfolio.
  • Ensure the implementation and maturing of a strong fit-for-purpose project governance framework across all projects.
  • Monitor project adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope through regular reporting, internal health checks and reviews.
  • Deliver strategic and operational reporting against the portfolio.
  • Provide strategic and operational advice on best-practise and fit-for-purpose approaches to project and portfolio management.
  • Implement quality assurance activities for programs and projects.
  • Provide effective leadership to the PMO including resource planning and management.
Key Requirements

Demonstrable experience in a similar role and a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification and previous project management experience is highly desirable. While not mandatory, qualifications in other project methodologies such as Agile, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3O) are desirable.
