Inventory Coordinator

The Position

Troocoo is proud to partner with an established manufacturing company currently going through an exciting period of growth in Brisbane’s southern suburbs to recruit an Inventory Coordinator on a 3-month temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.

This role is part-time, 24 hours per week, on-site at the office in Yatala, QLD, and reports to the Procurement Manager.

The inventory Coordinator plays a key role in improving stock availability and supporting effective decision-making through structured planning outputs.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Translate validated demand into supply and purchasing requirements.
  • Generate and maintain supply plans aligned with lead times and capacity constraints.
  • Monitor stock levels, stock in transit, and production pipeline.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory parameters, including min/max levels, and safety stock.
  • Identify risks, including stock shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving items.
  • Identify and escalate supply chain risks, including delays, demand fluctuations, and capacity constraints.
  • Create reports and maintain accurate input of data and records.
 
Skills & Experience

This position is ideal for someone immediately available, enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and has strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in an inventory or supply chain planning role.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for inventory analysis and planning.
