About the Role
Reporting into the HR Manager this role is a true generalist HR Officer opportunity and will form an integral part of the Human resources team in the business. Supporting across several Human resources aspects including effective risk management, compliance and department improvement activities; this role will also be responsible for:
  • HR administration and coordination of the function.
  • First point of contact for all HR queries including grievances and investigations in relation with relevant regulations and legislations including Fair Work and WHS.
  • Supporting internal recruitment administration.
  • Assisting the HR team with performance management and provide basic advice to the HR Manager.
  • Employee life-cycle management using the HRIS software, Workday (recruitment on-boarding, contracts and employee relationship management).
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a HR Officer capacity, with the view to grow and develop your knowledge and skills. You will wish to work collaboratively with a close-knit HR team delivering high quality outcomes. You will also have:
  • Extensive experience working within a HRIS, ideally Workday.
  • Drive and motivation to think strategically and take initiative when it comes to problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
  • Enthusiastic, resilient and driven to provide exceptional customer and client service
