About the Role.
Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC), require a GM Finance who will be responsible for the financial function which includes the Integrated Resort and Residential apartments, and the GM Finance is critical to the overall success of the project delivery providing financial, business and strategic advice. Reporting into the Project Directors and the DBC Leadership team, you will be accountable for the following;
- Financial reporting and management reporting obligations.
- Treasury and cash management for the shared service functions.
- Funds and debt management and cash flow forecasting.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure Tax compliance obligations and reporting.
- Stakeholder management and engagement with executive leaders and external partners.
- Create operational readiness for asset transition from construction to operations.
- Manage the payroll function.
- Provide advice on finance matters relevant to the corporate, construction and casino business operations.
- Manage external finance consultants and provide information for the financial model and maintenance/ updates of the financial model.
- Assist the legal team with compliance and contract review analysing financial risks.
- Drive continuous process development and improvements.
The ideal candidate as GM Finance will have strong financial and business acumen and effective stakeholder engagement skills.
- CA/CPA Qualified with tertiary qualifications in Finance or Business.
- Experience in a capital-intensive industry and/ or joint venture arrangement.
- Be able to think strategically and work with agility having a team focused and delivery mindset.
- You will have strong liquidity management skills including debt, equity and cash management
