Troocoo is proud to be partnering with Business Chamber Queensland in the search for a dynamic and experienced Events and Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead their events program and manage key strategic partner relationships across the state.

About the role:
As the Events and Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the Chamber's events program, a critical pillar of their broader brand and communications strategy. Working closely with the External Affairs team and the Business Advisory and Member Services team, you will oversee a diverse calendar of events ranging from signature networking series through to major sponsored initiatives and regional activations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an innovative events strategy that strengthens the Chamber's position as Queensland's leading business body, planning and delivering a full calendar of events across metropolitan and regional Queensland.
  • Manage all event logistics end-to-end, venues, speakers, AV, catering, and event collateral.
  • Collaborate with the External Affairs team to build and execute event marketing campaigns that maximise awareness, attendance, and ticket revenue.
  • Lead the Chamber's strategic partner and sponsor relationship management program, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and partners are supported to maximise the value of their agreements.
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting and financial targets for both new and existing strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and manage the regional engagement strategy, delivering events and activations that grow brand awareness and membership in regional Queensland.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and insights to the General Manager, External Affairs.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in events, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field, with at least five years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience within the Queensland business sector and a strong understanding of the B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in relationship building and partnership management, with the ability to nurture and retain high-value stakeholder relationships.
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience contributing to revenue targets and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team.
