Employability Officer

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, case management support role where you will manage a portfolio of referrals and assist customers in identifying suitable employment pathways. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure customers receive the right support at the right time.
   
Key Responsibilities
   
  • Engage with customers to gather detailed employment and vocational history
  • Conduct research and provide guidance on training options and career pathways
  • Create and manage provider referrals 
  • Prepare clear and concise  documentation 
  • Liaise with customers, allied health providers, legal representatives and internal stakeholders
  • Manage a caseload and prioritise referrals effectively
  • Undertake triaging, fact-finding and initial customer conversations
  • Provide general claims and administrative support as required
   
About You
   
  • Experience in claims, insurance, customer advisory or a similar environment
  • Alternatively, a background in recruitment or employment services with transferable skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident managing phone-based conversations with a customer-first approach
  • Ability to interpret information, make sound decisions and document outcomes clearly
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
