The Opportunity

• Position: Registered Nurse – Grade 5
• Location: Dysart, QLD
• Contracts Available :
• 07.09.2026 – 04.10.2026
  28.09.2026 – 17.01.2027
  06.10.2026 – 17.01.2027
• Hours: Maximum 80 hours per fortnight
• Shifts: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts, as per roster
• Travel & accommodation: Assistance available

About the Role
  
Working on a rotating roster of 8 and 12-hour shifts, you will provide safe, high quality patient care across acute and emergency settings. At times you may be required to lead the ward and work as the sole Registered Nurse on shift.
  
Essential Experienc

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent Rural & Remote nursing experience
• Emergency Department experience
• Triage and Resuscitation experience
• Ability to confidently lead shifts and manage the ward independently
• Current ALS and BLS certification
• ETEK competency  

Highly Regarded

• ieMR experience
• FirstNet
• PowerChart
• HBCIS
• Previous Queensland Health experience
