Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for a short-term Rural & Remote opportunity at Boulia, Central West HHS.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rural and remote nurse looking to work within a unique remote Queensland community setting.

The Role Position: Director of Nursing – NG9

Location: Boulia, QLD
Classification: NG9
Contract: 7 September – 22 September 2026
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
On-call: After hours and weekends

About:

Boulia Health Clinic supports the local community and surrounding rural properties.

The clinic:

• Has no inpatient beds
• Provides primary healthcare services to the local community
• Is supported by administration and operational staff
• Works alongside Queensland Ambulance Service
• Has emergency support through the Royal Flying Doctor Service
• Has community driver support

What We're Looking For To be considered, you must have:

• Previous Queensland Health experience
• Strong Rural & Remote nursing experience
• Previous experience appropriate to a Director of Nursing position
• Current mandatory compliance documentation
• Availability for the entire contract period
