Customer Support Officer

About the Role
We are currently seeking a customer support officer to join a busy and supportive Family Care team for an immediate start.

Working as the first point of contact for families and centres, you will play a key role in managing enquiries, supporting enrolments, and building positive relationships with families during a period of growth and change.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound calls and email enquiries from families and childcare centres.
  • Support families through the enrolment process and provide general information.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and maintain accurate records and case notes.
  • Build strong relationships with families and centre teams through clear and supportive communication.
  • Work collaboratively within a close-knit Family Care team in a fast-paced environment.
What’s on Offer
  • ASAP start with interviews taking place face-to-face onsite.
  • 4-6 week temporary assignment with potential for extension through to end of June.
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
  • $35 per hour + superannuation.
  • Office-based role.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in customer service or contact centre environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a relationship-focused approach.
  • Confidence managing enquiries and supporting families in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Experience within childcare, NDIS, community services, or child safety environments will be highly regarded.
  • A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to commence immediately.
