The Opportunity
Troocoo is partnering with a growing construction and maintenance service provider in the mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors to recruit a Contract Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis.
Location: Teneriffe, QLD. Please note that my client will be relocating the office to Brisbane CBD in the next few months.
Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare the submission, review, and approval of progress payment claims from subcontractors, suppliers and the client.
- Ensure claims are submitted in accordance with contract terms.
- Oversee the launch of contract kick-offs, setup, development, administration, and modifications throughout a project's lifecycle.
- Develop and implement standardised claim templates, checklists and automated validation rules.
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of claims, ensuring all supporting documentation is provided.
- Manage variations by assessing their validity and ensuring that proper contractual procedures are adhered to for changes in scope and value.
- Own the PO lifecycle for divisional budgets, including forecasting, accruals and month-end reconciliation.
- Facilitate the resolution of any contractual disputes, including payment issues and claims.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Contract Administration/Management in an infrastructure or construction project environment.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Legal training or strong knowledge of contract law will be held in high regard.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is undergoing a maturity uplift across its systems and processes.
