About the role:
The Internal Communications Specialist is primarily responsible for producing engaging communications to build positive awareness of a major internal stakeholder and strengthen the team’s reputation – internally and externally.
Other responsibilities include:
- Defining, driving, coordinating and delivering customer-centric and timely communications with internal clients.
- Produce compelling communications collateral, including email, newsletter and video communications
- Plan, implement and evaluate communication activities to support successful delivery of the clients business priorities – such as including service improvements, incident response, portfolio delivery and staff engagement to support change management strategies.
- Ensuring effective branding consistent with the brand policy and aligned with the organisational values and mission.
The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified in communications, marketing or related field and will have a demonstrated background in internal communications. You will have a high-level ability to write and edit effective and engaging content, staying on top of the latest trends in the internal communications space.
You will have the ability to write newsworthy, compelling content, demonstrating creativity, passion and a flair for storytelling, tailored to a range of channels and formats.
