Contract Details

• Location: Boulia, QLD
• Contract: 14 August 2026 – 2 October 2026
• Position: Clinical Nurse (Nurse Grade 6)
• Roster: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
• On-call and recall required

About the Role You'll work across a true Rural & Remote multipurpose health service providing care in:

• Emergency Department
• Acute Care
• Aged Care
• General Ward

This role requires an experienced clinician who can confidently work independently while leading and supporting a small multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements Applicants must have:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Previous Queensland Health experience
• Extensive Rural & Remote nursing experience
• Recent experience in Acute, Emergency and Aged Care
• Triage competency
• IV Cannulation competency
• Adult Advanced Life Support (ALS2)
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Current competencies completed within the last 12 months
