This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably experienced nurse looking to experience working in a remote Queensland community.

The Role Position: Clinical Nurse – NG6

Location: Boulia, QLD
Classification: NG6
Contract: 7 September – 2 October 2026
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
On-call: After hours and weekends

About:

Boulia Health Clinic provides healthcare services to the local community and surrounding rural properties.

The clinic:

• Has no inpatient beds
• Supports the local community and surrounding rural properties
• Is supported by administration and operational staff
• Works alongside Queensland Ambulance Service
• Has emergency support through the Royal Flying Doctor Service
• Has community driver support

Essential Requirements To be considered, candidates must have:

• Previous Queensland Health experience
• Demonstrated Rural & Remote nursing experience
• Clinical nursing experience suitable for the role
• Current mandatory compliance documentation
• Availability for the entire contract period
