About the Role: Are you a skilled Business Process Analyst with a passion for driving efficiency and impactful change? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join a collaborative team in higher education, focused on enhancing work-integrated learning (WIL) processes. This is a unique opportunity to streamline operations and make a real difference in a dynamic, high-impact project environment.

Project Overview: Join a team within the higher education sector dedicated to supporting WIL programmes, which provide essential real-world experiences for students. The team utilises InPlace, a system for managing WIL activities, and the project is aimed at system integration and enhancing the end-user experience for students and industry partners. The project addresses significant challenges around process inconsistencies, data quality, and system integration.

Position Summary: As a Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and implementing business processes using BPMN to improve efficiency and the user experience within a higher education context. You will work closely with stakeholders, translating business needs into detailed process maps and supporting process enhancements through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine Business Process Architecture, creating detailed process maps using BPMN.
  • Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate process flows and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure alignment between process development and technological updates.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of new processes, recommending further improvements as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of process maps and related materials.
About You:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Business Process Architecture, BPMN, and process mapping tools.
  • Analytical: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across the education sector.
  • Teamwork: Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
